The cryptic title of the image is a combination of shortcuts to find through my work of this kind:

CY ist for cyanotype print. The original image is a handmade print using this fantastic technique developed by Sir John Herschel in 1842. It contains loads of handmade steps and incalculable factors, such as exposure to sunlight that always changes and the making-the-paper-light-sensitive that leads to the almost random edges of the motive.

AI is for artificial intelligence - I am no photographer and so to get a negative to work with I used text based AI to generate an image close to my imagination.

X is the short symbol for nudea and similar topics

A5 is the size of the original image (about 15x21cm)

Christian Reimann is a passionate artist, mainly deep into manual printing techniques, but also exercising eye and handy by lifesketching nudes with models. His passion for printing started in 2015 with architectural motives bus soon extended to the beauty of the human form.
